Enough about that, though. I absolutely love Valentine's Day. I thrive on romance, not only in my books but in my life. When it comes to romance, the hero of my upcoming release, Tyson Covington (COWBOY STRONG, 2/23/16), is all about smooth talking and short love affairs. Total opposite of my personal cowboy. My hubs is amazing. He has something special planned for the weekend, and I can't wait to find out what it is! He has told me to pack my LBD (little black dress) and some heels and be ready to enjoy the evening and then breakfast in bed. Wheee!
But back to Tyson... Despite the fact the dude's been a player all his life, I absolutely loved writing him. He's a total animal lover, a softy at heart and loyal as all get out. Ty is afraid of commitment, but even he doesn't understand the level of his personal damage. Not until Life (with a capital L) intercedes and shows him exactly what it has cost him to keep his heart barricaded all his life.
As for the heroine, she's not exactly an angel. She's a serial dater who seems to always come back around to Ty. Her heart is all in where he's concerned, but her logical mind realizes the cowboy may never pony up.
In honor of Valentine's Day, I'm giving away a signed copy of COWBOY STRONG and a handful of goodies to go with it. All you have to do is leave a comment telling me about a book that's changed your life--even if it just really touched your heart. You won't be signed up for a newsletter, I won't share your profile anywhere, and I promise I won't spam you. EVER. I just love interacting with readers...and getting great book recommendations! :)
Contest is open from now until February 23. I'll let random.org pick the winner. (Chances of winning are solely based on number of comments received.) Contest is open to US and Canada only, please. I've been a wee bit overwhelmed with international postage in the last two months. Thanks for understanding!
